When is the Regatta?

The Intracoastal Christmas Regatta is held annually the Saturday after Thanksgiving along the Intracoastal Waterway in Little River & North Myrtle Beach, SC.

Where can I see the Regatta?

You can see the boats during the event anywhere you can see the Intracoastal Waterway between Patio's in Little River and Dock Holiday's Marina in North Myrtle Beach. For more details, see our list of viewing locations.

Who does the Regatta benefit?

The Intracoastal Christmas Regatta is hosted by Yachts for Tots of North Myrtle Beach/Little River. All donations & fundraising activities assist us in our goal to meet the needs of children in Horry County who, for one reason or another, might be falling through the cracks of traditional agencies that provide assistance.

We do not receive any funds from the government and rely on the generous donations from our community, the sale of event t-shirts, and similar fundraising.

What's in it for Parade Participants?

In addition to the prestige & goodwill of being a Regatta participant, we will have raffle prizes at the boat captain meeting, category (based on boat length) prizes, and cash grand prize for best overall entry.

Why are there not more boats?

Unfortunately decorating a boat can cost too much time, money, and staff/volunteers for many boaters. You can help us make this best event possible by encouraging boaters you know to enter their boat or volunteering to help a boater you know.

Why don't you go further down the water way in NMB?

The Intracoastal Christmas Regatta is already 10 miles long, and the route has been strategically chosen to include the best (and most) possible viewing locations for you to enjoy.

Why is this during the Clemson/Carolina game?

The Intracoastal Christmas Regatta began in 1984, before they moved their game to Thanksgiving weekend. We are humbled to have a very supportive community that anticipates our event each year.
